TIPS FOR KEEPING YOUR HAT SAFE

Avoid Rain –  Care should be taken when wearing a hat in the rain and should be kept under an umbrella at all times. If subjected to rain and even the slightest drizzle can damage a hat beyond repair.

Wear light make-up – we recommend not wearing foundation on the part of the forehead if it touches the hat.  Blot your skin with a tissue to remove oil before putting on your hat.

Wash & dry hands before taking the hat on or off.

Removing & storing your hat – be mindful of putting your hat away safely before, during and after the event, we recommend storing it in the box provided.

Please do not attempt to clean marks off yourself as this may make the damage worse.

PLEASE NOTE

Folly London Millinery reserves the right to retain the full deposit if the item is returned marked or damaged in any way. The hat should not come back smelling of smoke, perfume or hair products. If this happens the deposit would be retained.

If the hat is lost, stolen or damaged beyond repair (including any dents, loss of decoration or water damage) then the amount payable is the retail value of the hat plus the hire charge. The replacement cost will be entered in each individual contract.
